May 2016: Gearing up for IEP production

Following the development stage, Solo are now gearing up for production of the IEP project for Hitachi Rail Europe. A dedicated facility is being created with a new state of the art multi daylight press added to ensure the accurate and controlled bonding of the panel structures.

The first of the 790 vehicles sets of equipment is due to commence delivery soon and continues through to 2019.
