performance, efficiency and best value for our clients. Our procurement
procedures follow strict industry critical guidelines for supplier selection:
- Third party accreditation ISO9001. ISO14001. OHSAS18001.
- Satisfactory past performance
- Commercial value and risk assessment
- Geographic location to site
- Stock holding availability
All the above are reviewed annually and formally evaluated. Suppliers
not meeting the required standard shall be de-listed. The defined
methods by which Solo Rail Solutions procures materials and services
from a third party are within the guidelines of ISO9001.
The purchasing director or nominated representative is responsible for
ensuring all materials purchased for quality production purposes conform
to customer contractual requirements. References of our approved
supplier list are held on record with all suppliers obliged to complete our
quality questionnaire.
Solo Rail Solutions reserve the right to verify products and materials conform
to specified requirements by inspection at supplier site. Our suppliers play an
important part in the success of our business and the integrity of our customer
focused solutions, to this endeavour we share common goals and responsibilities.
